Creative Writing - Creatively

One thing I have been working on, specifically with my targets this term is engagement in writing. After looking all over the internet at various activities teachers are doing in their classes around the world, I have tweaked what I saw to suit what I want to do. While students are with me, they do very focussed learning (The first thing we learnt was how to write a sentence, beginning with I can see a...). Once they have completed a workshop, I encourage and triple-check that this strategy is being integrated into their learning and writing.

To build engagement we write in creative ways. A favourite of ours has been chalk... and it was fantastic that one of my targets transferred his knowledge from our workshop into his work (without a reminder).
